Passing Down Nagaoka’s Spirit of Beauty and Resilience
APM is a historic building that survived wartime fires and the Chuetsu Earthquake. Despite many challenges, Nagaoka has preserved its spirit of beauty, surrounded by the nature of Higashiyama and the Shinano River.
Home to many museums and galleries, the city values art and resilience. APM symbolizes this dedication, passing on Nagaoka’s beauty and strength to future generations.
